Limit, bound, boundary; a place of resting or pausing. Ex. bhāṅgācē divasānta samudrācī ṭhēpa itakīca; pañcāitīcī ṭhēpa kōṭhaparyanta ālī? 3 An appointment or engagement: also an appointed or assigned time, a term. v kara, ṭharava. Ex. udyā sandhyākāḷīṃ tumhāsa bhēṭēna asī tyānēṃ ṭhēpa kēlī āhē; tyācī ṭhēpa bharalī; pañcāyatīnēṃ tyājapāsūna ṭhēpa lihūna ghētalī. ṭhēpa dēṇēṃ To apply some cause of obstruction or stoppage; to fix some limit or term. ṭhēpēsa nēṇēṃ or lāvaṇēṃ To bring or put to its proper resting place; to fix or settle. ṭhēpīcā Regular, orderly, correct, restrained, observing limit, law, or rule--person, trader, business.
