Ṭheṃgā (ठेंगा) [Also spelled thenga]:—(nm) the thumb (used only to show contempt or defiance); bludgeon; —[dikhānā] lit. to show the thumb—to express a contemptuous or defiant refusal; to disappoint; [ṭheṃge para nacānā] to make somebody dance to his tune; [ṭheṃge se] care a fig !, not to care two hoots.
