thāṭamāṭa (थाटमाट) [or थाटमांड, thāṭamāṇḍa].—m (thāṭa by redup. or thāṭaṇēṃ & māṇḍaṇēṃ) Laying out the apparatus or materials of; also such laid out state or array. 2 Disposition and arrangement (as of furniture or affairs) indicating comfortable settledness or purpose to stay: any wide outlay well disposed and ordered. v kara, paḍa, basa. 3 Dressing and decorating (as for an occasion); setting out with splendor and magnificence; pomp, pageantry, state, display.
