ṭhasa (ठस).—a Clear, conspicuous, bold, striking, full and glowing--writing, colors &c.: also strong, full, definite;--used of tastes: also strong and close, firm-textured;--used of cloths or stuffs.

ṭhasā (ठसा).—m ( H) A stamp or an impression. v dē, kara, pāḍa. 2 A stamping instrument: also a mould in which shapes and figures are engraven. 3 A dint of the forming hammer. 4 fig. An impression on the mind. v paḍa.
