thaḍakaṇēṃ (थडकणें).—v i To run or dash against and be arrested in progress; to be brought suddenly to a stand. 2 To dash or beat against--as water or wind. 3 To stop; to come to the end of a journey or of a motion. 4 To arrive; to reach its proper banker--said of a huṇḍī.
