1. Raised verandah; திண்ணை. இலங்குவளை மகளிர் தெற்றி யாடும் [thinnai. ilanguvalai magalir therri yadum] (புறநானூறு [purananuru] 53).
2. Mansion, palace; மாடம். (பிங்கலகண்டு) [madam. (pingalagandu)]
