Ten Knowledges:—A technical term in Buddhism corresponding to the Sanskrit jñāna defined in the Dharma-saṃgraha (section 93):

  1. Knowledge of suffering (duḥkha-jñāna),
  2. Knowledge of arising (samudaya-jñāna),
  3. Knowledge of cessation (nirodha-jñāna),
  4. Knowledge of path (mārga-jñāna),
  5. Knowledge of dharma (dharma-jñānam),
  6. Knowledge of conformity (anvaya-jñāna),
  7. Knowledge of the concealed (saṃvṛti-jñāna),
  8. Knowledge of others’ minds (paracitta-jñāna),
  9. Knowledge of destruction (kṣaya-jñāna),
  10. Knowledge of non-production (anutpāda-jñāna).

The Dharma-samgraha (Dharmasangraha) is an extensive glossary of Buddhist technical terms in Sanskrit (e.g., ‘ten knowledges’). The work is attributed to Nagarguna who lived around the 2nd century A.D.
