Tatas (ततस्).—(tataḥ) ind.

1) From that (person or place &c.), thence; न च निम्नादिव हृदयं निवर्तते मे ततो हृदयम् (na ca nimnādiva hṛdayaṃ nivartate me tato hṛdayam) Ś.3.2 (v. l.); Mālatīmādhava (Bombay) 2.1; Manusmṛti 6.7;12.85.

3) Then, thereupon, afterwards; ततः कतिपयदिवसा- पगमे (tataḥ katipayadivasā- pagame) K.11; Amaruśataka 69; Kirātārjunīya 1.27; Manusmṛti 2.93;7.59.
