The more common understanding and use is Any hindering, harassing, embarrassing, distressing occurrence or occasion (esp. as connected with food and the homely affairs of life): also the hinderance, harassment, distress, difficulty thence proceeding. Ex. pāṇyācā-pāvasā- cā-dhānyācā-paikyācā-saimpākācā-jēvaṇācā-saṃsārācā- snānācā-tā0 The trouble, bother, and general disturbance and distress arising from lack (of water, rain, corn, money), or from some impediment (in the way of cooking, eating, bathing). Ex. āyīvāñcūna mulācā tā0 hōtō; gharāsa āga lāgalī mhaṇajē tā0 hōtō; gharacā dhanī mēlyāmuḷēṃ kuṭuṃ- bācā or prapañcācā tā0 hōtō.
