The appearance of vast waters (水 [shui]). From Selections of Literature (文選 [wen xuan]), Mu Hua's (木華 [mu hua]) Ode to the Sea (海賦 [hai fu]): "Vast and turbulent (浺瀜沆瀁 [chong rong hang yang]), boundless and expansive (渺瀰 [miao mi])." Song Dynasty (宋 [song]), Su Shi's (蘇軾 [su shi]) Ode to the Yellow Tower (黃樓賦 [huang lou fu]): "Looking north, the Si River (泗水 [si shui]) is vast and overflowing, and the ancient Bian River (古汴 [gu bian]) flows into it."
