Tājikanīlakaṇṭhī (ताजिकनीलकण्ठी) (authored by Nīlakaṇṭha Daivajña in 1587) refers to a most popular textbook dealing with the Tājika doctrine: a Sanskritized version of Perso-Arabic astrology sharing a core of pre-Islamic Indian jyotiṣa and Hellenistic astrology.—The work consists of three volumens: Saṃjñātantra (basic principles and terminology), Varṣatantra (annual prognostication) and the received text of the Praśnatantra (interrogations).
