Svedapaitya (स्वेदपैत्य) refers to “perspiration” (secretion of fluid by the sweat glands). Vatsanābha (Aconitum ferox), although categorized as sthāvara-viṣa (vegetable poisons), has been extensively used in ayurvedic pharmacopoeia.
