Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarysutāḍēṃ (सुताडें).—n A contemptuous or vilifying form of the word sutāḍā. 2 (A figurative application of the meaning of sutāḍā) The web, contexture, or connected body as formed through numerous intermarriages, the web of affinities. Ex. tumhī āmhī parakīya navhōṃ ēkaca sutāḍyāntalē āhōṃ; tyācēṃ āmacēṃ su0 ēkaca āhē: also such state, extensive affinity or connection. Also sutāḍēṅgutāḍēṃ or -gōtāḍēṃ or -gātāḍēṃ and sutāḍagutāḍa n (sūta & gutaṇēṃ or gōta) in this sense; and sometimes in the sense of Extensive engagement in trade or business; also confused engagement of many, every one with every other; and sometimes in the sense of Common understanding or agreement of numerous parties; and sometimes (the formations being viewed as composed of sūta & gutaṇēṃ) in the sense of Literal complication or entanglement.
