Source: academia.edu: Tessitori Collection ISurasundarīcarita (सुरसुन्दरीचरित) is the name of a work by Nayasundara dealing with the lives of Jain female heroes.—The Surasundarīcarita (in Gujarati) is included in the collection of manuscripts at the ‘Vincenzo Joppi’ library, collected by Luigi Pio Tessitori during his visit to Rajasthan between 1914 and 1919.—The Surasundarīcarita represents the telling of the story takes place during Ṛṣabha’s samavasaraṇa. The story illustrates the greatness and protection power of the Namaskāramantra. In campā reigned king Ripumardana, whose daughter was Surasundarī. In this city there was a businessman whose son was Amarakumāra (116v). The knot of the story is a childhood episode. [...] This composition includes several didactic passages about satīs, the merits of the namaskāramantra, etc.
