The words strictly signify dive as distinguished from dip. 2 A pressing forward with the head projected and the body drawn up; a rush (as through a crowd, as of a fish through the water, as of an elephant &c.) v māra, dē. 3 surakaṇḍī & surakāṇḍī further signify A stream (of any liquor) squirted or spurting out forcibly.
