Suprameyā (सुप्रमेया) refers to “she who is well known”, according to the Manthānabhairavatantra.—Accordingly, “From the root (of all things) Śāmbhavīśakti is Bhairavī the energy that is full (bharitā) (of all the energies). She is supreme, subtle, and gross. Waveless, she is (the energy) beyond mind (manonmanī). She is the Transmental, a certain (indefinable) energy of consciousness which is consciousness without stain (nirañjanā). (Empirically) unknowable (aprameyā) amongst objects of knowledge, she is well known [i.e., suprameyā] and is the mother of the universe. [...]”.
