Suprabhāvartaka (सुप्रभावर्तक) refers to a type of house without a room to the east, according to the Piṅgalāmata (verse 10.93-128).—[...] In the case of the three-roomed house for the sādhaka, we are told that there may be a room lacking in the north or in the east, but not in the south or in the west. The house with no room in the north is termed the hiraṇyanābha, while that without a room to the east is termed a suprabhāvartaka. [...]
