Tibetan Buddhism (Vajrayana or tantric Buddhism)
Suppression of Diseases refers to one of the “Eight Yogic Achievements” (in Tibetan: dngos grub brgyad).
Suppression of Disease (i.e., immortality along with the suppression of disease) is known in Tibetan as shi-ba med-dang nad-'joms; also referring to one of the “Eight Common Accomplishments” which are known in Tibetan as thun-mong-gi dngos-grub brgyad and in Sanskrit as: aṣṭasādhāraṇasiddhi.

Tibetan Buddhism includes schools such as Nyingma, Kadampa, Kagyu and Gelug. Their primary canon of literature is divided in two broad categories: The Kangyur, which consists of Buddha’s words, and the Tengyur, which includes commentaries from various sources. Esotericism and tantra techniques (vajrayāna) are collected indepently.
