Sundatrika (सुन्दत्रिक) refers to one of the miscellaneous dishes mentioned in the 17th century Bhojanakutūhala (dravyaguṇāguṇa-kathana), and is commonly found in literature dealing with the topics of dietetics and culinary art, also known as Pākaśāstra or Pākakalā. The balls prepared for kaṭakarṇaka are flattened before cooking. These flattened balls of flour are floated in a cooking vessel containing heated oil or ghee. These balls, when cooked will be soft. They are known as sundatrika.
