Śuddhaka (शुद्धक).—(1) adj. (= Sanskrit śuddha), white: Mahāvyutpatti 8397 °ka-kālakānām, see s.v. kālaka (1); (2) pl., name of a class of gods (see Śuddha): Māhāsamāj., Waldschmidt, Kl. Sanskrit Texte 4, 187.7; (3) (= Sanskrit śuddha) unmixed, simple, unqualified (as in śuddha-prāyaścittika and pāpattika, see s.v. pātayantika), opp. to qualified in various ways: Mūla-Sarvāstivāda-Vinaya iii.67.6; 72.1.
