Source: Shodhganga: Temple management in the ĀgamasSthānaśuddhi (स्थानशुद्धि) refers to the second of the Pañcaśuddhi (“five internal purification process”), to be performed during pūjā (ritualistic worship), according to the Arcanāvidhipaṭala of Kāmikāgama.—With the appropriate mantra, mudrā and bhāvana, the Ācārya cleanses and energizes the space around the pūjā area.
Shaiva (शैव, śaiva) or Shaivism (śaivism) represents a tradition of Hinduism worshiping Shiva as the supreme being. Closely related to Shaktism, Shaiva literature includes a range of scriptures, including Tantras, while the root of this tradition may be traced back to the ancient Vedas.
