Ayurveda (science of life)
Sthānasaṃśraya (स्थानसंश्रय, “localization”):—The fourth of the six stages of Saṃprāpti (‘pathogenesis’).—It is a Sanskrit technical term used throughout Ayurvedic (India medicine) literature such as the Caraka-saṃhitā and the Suśruta-saṃhitā. Saṃprāpti is an important clue for medical diagnosis (nidāna).
Sthānasaṃśraya (स्थानसंश्रय):—The interaction between the Doshas & Dushyas. Fourth stage of Kriyakala. This represents the prodromal phase of a disease.
Āyurveda (आयुर्वेद, ayurveda) is a branch of Indian science dealing with medicine, herbalism, taxology, anatomy, surgery, alchemy and related topics. Traditional practice of Āyurveda in ancient India dates back to at least the first millenium BC. Literature is commonly written in Sanskrit using various poetic metres.
