A yellow thread-like creeper void of leaves growing esp. amidst or around the milk-bush, Curcuta reflexa. Grah. Called also amaravēla & ākāśavēla. 3 (Creeper of gold.) An allusive term for Sheep as an article of property, sheep-keeping being esteemed as a source of wealth. 4 Applied also to nāgavēla, the culture of this plant being considered as highly profitable.
