Somanāthpāṭan is an archaeologically important site situated in Saurashtra, known for inscriptions regarding the ancient history of India. For example, at Somanāthpāṭan there is a fragmentary slab kept in the Museum at Junāgaḍh which mentions Trailokyarāśi and Dharmarāśi and refers to the excavation of a kūpa.
