sōīsumāra (सोईसुमार).—m (An expressive and a much-used compound with sōī & sumāra, both which words study for full apprehension of it.) The fitness of things; the appropriateness, adaptedness, justness, congruousness, consistency, reasonableness, as inhering in actions, occurrences, arrangements of measures or schemes, connections of circumstances, dispositions of things &c. viewed in their prominent relations and respects. Ex. sō0 pāhūna bōlāvēṃ; tū sāṅgatōsa hyālā kāṃhīṃ sō0 āhē tarīṃ; tyācē kharcālā āṇi tujhyā karaṇyālā sō0 nāhīṃ.
