Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarysōḍaviṇēṃ (सोडविणें).—v c (Causal of sōḍaṇēṃ) To cause to loosen or let go. 2 To deliver, liberate, release; to extricate, set free, or sever (from restraint, confinement, or connection generally). Ex. gāya vāghā- pāsūna sōḍavilī; hēṃ śēta myāṃ paikā dēūna sōḍavilēṃ; viṣa caḍhēla hmaṇūna maṇagaṭāpāsūna pañjā sōḍavilā. 3 To draw, i. e. to pour forth profusely or freely (figures of flowers, twigs &c. upon the ground or a wall on certain festal occasions). 4 (To loosen from the owner.) To appropriate. sōḍavūna ṭhēvaṇēṃ To preserve or leave open a loophole, salvo, proviso, means of evading or escaping. Ex. mī kēvaḷa badvaṃ jhālōṃ nāhīṃ miḷālēṃ tara dēīna asēṃ sōḍavūna ṭhēvalēṃ āhē.
