Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarysōḍavaṇa (सोडवण).—f (sōḍaviṇēṃ) Liberation, deliverance, release; setting free or the freed state, lit. fig. (from restraint or restriction of any kind). Ex. rahāṭākhālīṃ ghātalēlyā bailāsa sāñjapāvētōṃ sō0 nāhīṃ; ṛṇakaṛyāsa ṛṇa phēḍalyāvāñcūna sō0 nāhīṃ. 2 Any means of deliverance; anything whatever affording or involving the means of freedom or escape from; any loop-hole, salvo, specious pretext &c. Ex. myāṃ karāranāmā lihūna dilhā kharā paṇa tyānta sō0 sāmpaḍalī hmaṇūna suṭalōṃ; ēkādaśīcē divasīṃ bhōjana karūṃ nayē aśakta asalyāsa karāvēṃ asī sō0 āhē.
