Six Yoginīs:—A technical term in Buddhism corresponding to the Sanskrit ṣaḍyoginī defined in the Dharma-saṃgraha (section 13):

  1. Vajrā,
  2. Vārāhī,
  3. Yāminī,
  4. Sañcāraṇī,
  5. Santrāsanī,
  6. Cāṇḍikā.

The Dharma-samgraha (Dharmasangraha) is an extensive glossary of Buddhist technical terms in Sanskrit (e.g., ṣaṣ-yoginī, ‘six Yoginīs’). The work is attributed to Nagarguna who lived around the 2nd century A.D.
