Source: Pali Kanon: Pali Proper NamesA sacred spot in Anuradhapura, where Kakusandha Buddha preached during his visit to Ceylon (Mhv.xv.84). It was to the south of the Nagamalaka (Mhv.xv.118) and to the north of the Bodhi tree, near the Silasobbhakandaka cetiya (MT. 351).
King Thulatthana built a thupa on the spot (MT. 355).
