說法 [shuo fa]—Preaching the Dharma—[Miscellaneous Sayings (雜語 [za yu])] The Lotus Sutra (法華經 [fa hua jing]) says: "The King of all Sages (眾聖之王 [zhong sheng zhi wang]) preaches the Dharma and transforms [beings] (教化 [jiao hua])." The Sixth Volume of Profound Meanings of the Lotus Sutra (法華玄義 [fa hua xuan yi]) says: "All dharmas (諸法 [zhu fa]) cannot be shown, the characteristics of words are extinguished, but due to causes and conditions (因緣 [yin yuan]), they can also be spoken of."
說法—【雜語】法華經曰:「眾聖之王說法教化。」法華玄義六曰:「諸法不可示,言辭相寂滅,有因緣故亦可說。」
[zá yǔ] fǎ huá jīng yuē: “zhòng shèng zhī wáng shuō fǎ jiào huà.” fǎ huá xuán yì liù yuē: “zhū fǎ bù kě shì, yán cí xiāng jì miè, yǒu yīn yuán gù yì kě shuō.”
