睡眠欲 [shui mian yu]—Desire for sleep — [Term] One of the three desires of the Desire Realm (欲界三欲 [yu jie san yu]), and also one of the five desires (五欲 [wu yu]). It refers to ordinary people (凡夫 [fan fu]) who are not diligent (不精進 [bu jing jin]), are lazy and indulgent, only indulge in sleep (睡眠 [shui mian]), and are drowned in the attachment to its pleasure.
睡眠欲—【術語】欲界三欲,又五欲之一。謂凡夫不精進,怠惰放縱,唯耽睡眠,溺於樂著也。
[shù yǔ] yù jiè sān yù, yòu wǔ yù zhī yī. wèi fán fū bù jīng jìn, dài duò fàng zòng, wéi dān shuì mián, nì yú lè zhe yě.
