睡 [shui]—(Shuì) — [Technical Term] From 梵語 [fan yu] (Fànyǔ) (Sanskrit) 捨以哆 [she yi duo] (Shěyǐduō), Śayita. Refers to a state where 心識 [xin shi] (Xīnshí) (mind/consciousness) is 昏沈 [hun chen] (Hūnchén) (drowsy/torpid) and loses 覺知 [jue zhi] (Juézhī) (awareness). It is one of the 十纏 [shi chan] (Shíchán) (ten fetters).

From The Book of Odes (詩經 [shi jing]), 'Zhàonán' (召南 [zhao nan]), 'Wild There Is a Dead Roe Deer' (野有死麕 [ye you si jun]): "Gently and slowly, do not touch my (shùi)."
