衰 [shuai]—Loss – [Term] One of the Eight Worldly Concerns (八世法 [ba shi fa]). Refers to anything that causes a decrease or harm (損減 [sun jian]) to oneself.

摔 [shuāi] [shuai]—
[Verb]
1. To throw or fling with force. For example: "He flung the book (書 [shu]) violently onto the table (桌子 [zhuo zi])." In Dream of the Red Chamber (《紅樓夢 [hong lou meng]》), Chapter 3: "Upon hearing this, Baoyu (寶玉 [bao yu]) immediately had an attack of his madness, took off the jade (玉 [yu]) and flung it away with all his might."
2. To fall or drop. For example: "Be careful! Don't fall down the stairs (樓梯 [lou ti])."
3. To cause to fall and be damaged. For example: "He accidentally dropped and broke the bowl (碗 [wan])."
4. To get rid of, to shake off. For example: "Modern people (現代人 [xian dai ren]) lead busy lives and cannot cast aside work pressure (工作壓力 [gong zuo ya li])."
5. To fall, to tumble. For example: "to take a tumble (一跤 [yi jiao])."
