Śrāvastīpura (श्रावस्तीपुर).—Capital city of Śrāvasta, King of the Ikṣvāku dynasty. It was named "Śrāvastīpurī" or "Śrāvastīpura" because it was built by Śrāvasta, according to Mahābhārata, Vana Parva, Chapter 202, Verse 4.
