Ṣphak (ष्फक्).—tad. affix आयन (āyana), added to the words कापिशी (kāpiśī) and रङ्कु (raṅku) as also to the words बाह्री, उर्दि (bāhrī, urdi) in the residual or miscellaneous tad. senses; e. g. कापिशायनं मधु, कापिशायनी द्राक्षा, राङ्कवायणो गौ (kāpiśāyanaṃ madhu, kāpiśāyanī drākṣā, rāṅkavāyaṇo gau);, बाह्रायनी, और्दायनी, पार्दायनी (bāhrāyanī, aurdāyanī, pārdāyanī), cf.
