受法 [shou fa]—Receiving Dharma — [Term (術語 [shu yu])] It refers to following a master into the empowerment (灌頂 [guan ding]) mandala (壇 [tan]) to receive the Dharma (法 [fa]) of one mudra (印 [yin]) and one mantra (明 [ming]), or even up to three or five sections/classes (部 [bu]). This is called 'Receiving Dharma'. Each Dharma (法 [fa]) has its own rituals (儀式 [yi shi]) and practices (作法 [zuo fa]) that vary in depth, breadth, and conciseness. Those who are interested should first receive a connecting-affinity empowerment (結緣灌頂 [jie yuan guan ding]) and then proceed step by step.

受法—【術語】隨師入灌頂壇受一印一明乃至三部五部之法,名受法,各隨其法有淺深廣略之儀式作法,有意者應先受結緣灌頂,次第進入。
