Śluvikaraṇa (श्लुविकरण).—Roots characterized by the addition or application of the conjugational sign which is elided by the use of the term श्लु (ślu) for elision; roots of the third conjugation; cf. य एते लुग्विकरणाः श्लुवि-करणाश्च (ya ete lugvikaraṇāḥ śluvi-karaṇāśca) M.Bh.on P.III. 1.67 Vart. 2, as also on P. III 1. 91.
