śētavaḍa (शेतवड) [or शेताड, śētāḍa].—m A flowertree, Ipomœa Turpethum. Grah. Its flowers are offered to Shiva, and are applied to the head in hemicranium. It generally grows upon ruins or old walls. See for synonymes dudhāṇī & kumbhā. 2 A shrubby plant, Boërhavia scandens. Grah. 3 f The arable land around a village.
