聖道門 [sheng dao men]—Holy Path Gate — [Term] One of the two gates (二門 [er men]). Excluding the Pure Land Gate (淨土門 [jing tu men]) of the Pure Land School (淨土宗 [jing tu zong]) and True Pure Land School (淨土真宗 [jing tu zhen zong]), it refers to how other schools, such as the Faxiang (法相 [fa xiang]) and Tiantai (天台宗 [tian tai zong]) Schools, teach the path from the ordinary to the holy in this world.
