深法 [shen fa]—Profound Dharma—[Term] Refers to the extremely profound and subtle Dharma (甚深微妙 [shen shen wei miao]). The ultimate reality of all phenomena (諸法實相 [zhu fa shi xiang]) is the pinnacle of Profound Dharma. The Introduction Chapter (序品 [xu pin]) of the Lotus Sutra (法華經 [fa hua jing]) states: "The World-Honored One (世尊 [shi zun]) expounded the meaning of the Profound Dharma among the great assembly (大眾 [da zhong])." The lower volume of the Sutra of Immeasurable Life (無量壽經 [wu liang shou jing]) states: "Upon hearing the Profound Dharma, they rejoiced with faith and delight (歡喜信樂 [huan xi xin le])."
