Śaśiketu (शशिकेतु).—moon-bannered, (1) epithet of Śākyamuni: °to, voc., Lalitavistara 167.21; (2) name of the future Buddha which it is predicted Subhūti will become: Saddharmapuṇḍarīka 148.7 (supported by Tibetan zla baḥi tog, against v.l. Yaśasketu).
