Śāntidevī (शान्तिदेवी) is the name of a deity commonly depicted in Jaina art and iconography.—Śāntidevī may be found described in Śvetāmbara accounts as a Goddess seated in a lotus and bearing in her four hands Varada, rosary, Kamaṇḍalu and a pitcher. [...] Śāntidevī is believed by the Jainas to have the function of improving the origination of the four-fold Jaina church.
