Śaṃgerī (शंगेरी).—or saṃ° (compare AMg. saṃgellī, °lliā, mass, collection; Deśīnāmamālā 8.4 saṃgella, m., and saṃgollī, = samūha), mass, heap, collection: mandāravāna (or mānd°) bharitā kācit śaṃgeriyo (v.l. saṃ°) gṛhītvāna (or bharitvāna) Mahāvastu i.216.6 = ii.19.3 (verse), one was loaded down carrying masses of m. flowers.
