Source: The University of Sydney: A study of the Twelve ReflectionsŚakrakārmuka (शक्रकार्मुक) refers to a “rainbow”, according to the 11th century Jñānārṇava, a treatise on Jain Yoga in roughly 2200 Sanskrit verses composed by Śubhacandra.—Accordingly, “Also, consider that the state of being a mighty lord over gods, snakes and men, which is like a rainbow (śakrakārmuka-saṃnibha), immediately becomes annihilated by itself”.
