Śabdarūpaskandha (शब्दरूपस्कन्ध) or simply śabda refers to the “sound form component” and represents one of the eleven form components (rūpaskandha) as defined in the Dharma-saṃgraha (section 25). The Dharma-samgraha (Dharmasangraha) is an extensive glossary of Buddhist technical terms in Sanskrit (e.g., śabda-rūpaskandha). The work is attributed to Nagarguna who lived around the 2nd century A.D.
