色眾 [se zhong]—Sè zhòng — [Term] One of the five aggregates (五眾 [wu zhong]). Both the newly translated five skandhas (五蘊 [wu yun]) and the old translation of five heaps/obscurations (五陰 [wu yin]) are referred to as the five aggregates. Sè zhòng refers to the aggregate of form (色蘊 [se yun]). The Mahāprajñāpāramitā-śāstra (智度論 [zhi du lun]), Chapter 36, states: "Sè zhòng refers to visible phenomena."
色眾—【術語】五眾之一,新譯之五蘊,舊譯之五陰皆云五眾。色眾者即色蘊也。智度論三十六曰:「色眾者是可見法。」
