色塵 [se chen]—Form-dust — [General Term] One of the six dusts (六塵 [liu chen]). It refers to the defiling objects of consciousness (染污情識 [ran wu qing shi]) such as manifest colors (顯色 [xian se]) like blue, yellow, red, and white, and forms (形色 [xing se]) like those of men and women. The Sutra of Perfect Enlightenment (圓覺經 [yuan jue jing]) states: "If the ear-sense (耳根 [er gen]) is pure (清淨 [qing jing]), then Form-dust is pure."

色塵—【雜名】六塵之一。青黃赤白等顯色及男女形色等之染污情識者,謂之色塵。圓覺經曰:「耳根清淨,故色塵清淨。」
