Savyasācin (सव्यसाचिन्).—m. an epithet of Arjuna; निमित्तमात्रं भव सव्यसाचिन् (nimittamātraṃ bhava savyasācin) Bhagavadgītā (Bombay) 11. 33.; (the name is thus derived in Mb.:-ubhau me dakṣiṇau pāṇī gāṇḍīvasya vikarṣaṇe | tena devamanuṣyeṣu savyasācīti māṃ viduḥ ||).
