Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarysāvābīvaḍa (सावाबीवड).—f C and Local. Breaking up the ground for the sowing of the grain Sawa. This is done in māḷajamīna sometimes two months before the setting in of the rains. This breaking or scratching of the soil and early sowing is observed also for the grain tīḷa Sesamum, but for no others.
