Source: Wisdom Library: Dharma-samgrahaSattvārthakriyāśīla (सत्त्वार्थक्रियाशील) or simply Sattvārthakriyā refers to the “ (the virtue of seeking the welfare of beings” and represents one of the “three kinds of virtue” (śīla) as defined in the Dharma-saṃgraha (section 106). It can also be spelled as Kuśalasaṃgrāhaśīla. The Dharma-samgraha (Dharmasangraha) is an extensive glossary of Buddhist technical terms in Sanskrit (e.g., sattvārthakriyā-śīla). The work is attributed to Nagarjuna who lived around the 2nd century A.D.
